ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS OF SERVICE
The services offered at www.LookLocally.com are provided to users and members of the website (advertisers) under the terms and conditions of this agreement and any associated policies published by www.LookLocally.com. By continuing your use of the site OR registering as a member, the user or member agrees to be bound by all terms and conditions within this agreement. The terms and the site may change without notice periodically. Users and Members are responsible for checking these terms for any changes or revisions made. All revised terms become immediately effective upon posting to www.LookLocally.com site.
1. DESCRIPTION OF WEB SITE:
The www.LookLocally.com Web site provides a comprehensive listing of local businesses and services organized by geography and category that can easily be found entering regional search parameters. There is no charge to the Users of the site for this service.
Members of www.LookLocally.com receive a Web page (Search Engine Magnet Page™) with a comprehensive description of their service, 3 media attachments and submittal to major search engines. Membership is available on an annual basis.
2. MEMBER RESPONSIBILITY:
- Must be of legal age to form a binding contract
- Provide current, complete, and accurate information about contact information and service business description
- Maintain and update this information in order to keep it current, complete and accurate.
- Members must provide 3 media attachments to be posted on their Search Engine Magnet Page™. All information requested during member's initial sign-up shall be referred to as "Registration Data." Registration Data must be maintained and updated as necessary by member.
- Cancellation of Service: Monthly Members acknowledge that membership is an annual commitment and any cancellation of membership will result in fees equal to the balance of membership term. Annual Memberships are paid in full upon registration. In the event an Annual Member cancels before the expiration date of the agreement, no reimbursement of fees will be provided.
3. NO "SPAMMING": Members and users agree they will not use www.LookLocally.com for chain letters, junk mail, or "Spamming" or make any use of the distribution lists to create spam. Further, users and members agree not to use www.LookLocally.com email addresses or the website in any SPAM e-mail message or unsolicited message. If any user or member uses this website for Spam, or includes it in a SPAM e-mail, www.LookLocally.com reserves the right to immediately terminate the membership and or user's access to the website and to seek appropriate legal action if necessary. If anyone believes this site is being used for Spam, please notify us by using the contact form on www.LookLocally.com.
4. COMMUNICATION: LookLocally.com may give notice to its members by e-mail, posting information on the Web site, or other reasonable means. Members can contact LookLocally.com via a written request through e-mail, fax or postal mail as provided on the Member registration form. Additionally, contact information including our phone number is available under the "About" Section.
5. DISCLAIMER AND TERMS OF SITE USE TO ALL USERS AND ADVERTISERS (MEMBERS): www.LookLocally.com shall not be liable to Users for the performance or quality of the services and products advertised in Web pages or other listings by Members of this site. Users are responsible for investigating all prospective service or product providers and pursuing any claims with each individual provider. Further, www.LookLocally.com is not liable for the performance of this site to any Members other than the guarantee specified at www.LookLocally.com.
6. MEMBERSHIP (ACCESS AND SECURITY): Once Members register for www.LookLocally.com, an account will be set up with input from the member. Members are responsible for completing all the necessary information for a complete webpage (Search Engine Magnet Page™) to be created. The member will be assigned and notified of a unique username and password that can be changed by the member. Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their username and password. The member webpage (Search Engine Magnet Page™) can then be accessed on the internet by members at any time the website is accessible. Business information may be edited or changed by members. Members are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under each member's account.
7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES: Site Users and Members agree that sole responsibility for use of the site, or participation in the site rests solely with the User or the Member. www.LookLocally.com makes no claim that the site will meet User or Member expectations, or that the site will be uninterrupted and 100% secure or free of errors. Further www.LookLocally.com can not guarantee accuracy of the information contained within the site. Users of the site acknowledge that www.LookLocally.com does not control the content, information, products or services provided by Members or Advertisers or third parties associated with this Web site. User agrees any data viewed, downloaded or otherwise obtained through use of the site is done at the Users own discretion and risk. User or Member is solely responsible for any damage to User or Member computer system and for any loss of data due to downloaded information.
8. MEMBER AND USER CONDUCT: www.LookLocally.com reserves the right, but does not assume responsibility, to monitor User and Member conduct on the Web site. Members and Users of the Web site are subject to all applicable local, state, national and international laws and regulations.
User agrees:
