Outside High Technology Sales Consultant
We are looking for outside sales consultants to join our start-up organization in Washington, D.C. and Dallas. Position will be responsible for sales revenue of LookLocally.com products and services. This job will focus on account recruitment and penetration activities, including the full range of prospecting, selling and closing.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Meet or exceed sales quota objectives on a monthly/annual basis in assigned territory.
  • Aggressively prospect for new pipeline opportunities.
  • Ability to add a minimum of 20 new prospects per week through lead follow up, cold calling, telemarketing, referrals, networking and association participation.
  • Be proactive in managing current pipeline by reviewing open leads and engaging internal resources as needed.
  • Ability to handle complex sales, negotiations and develop solutions to customer requirements.
  • Ability to develop strong relations with customers at decision-making levels, work productively in team assignments, define and execute sales strategies and communicate clearly and concisely through professional presentations as required.
Qualifications:
  • Absolute minimum of 2 years sales experience with revenue quota responsibility.
  • Media/Advertising sales experience preferred.
  • Individual must be a highly motivated self-starter, results oriented and have a proven track record showing high leadership qualities.
  • Successful development, implementation and execution of Sales Business Plan inclusive of prospecting, managing a pipeline, account management and customer retention.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow revenue in excess of 100% in a start up environment, consistently Month/Month and Year/Year for a period of no less than 2 years.
  • Experience selling to mid-sized and large companies, media marketing firms, and working with larger, multiple unit sales.
