Terms of Service for LookLocally.com Search Engine Magnet Page™ Campaigns.
1. DESCRIPTION OF LOOKLOCALLY.COM WEB SITE:
When MEMBERS of LookLocally.com purchase a custom landing page, called a Search Engine Magnet Page™ (Magnet Page™); the MEMBER receives a comprehensive description of their business, 3 media attachments, hosting on the national Web site (www.LookLocally.com) and submission of their Magnet Page™ to major search engines. Membership is on an annual basis of $2,600 per Magnet Page™.
LookLocally.com also offers through the Web a comprehensive directory listing of local businesses organized by geographic area which is used by both business and consumers as their online yellow page directory. LookLocally.com offers a free listing in the online directory for our Magnet Page ™ Members.
2. LOOKLOCALLY.COM GUARANTEE:
We are so confident in our ability to deliver top search engine rankings for our Members that we offer the following simple, straightforward Internet Marketing performance guarantee. If your Search Engine Magnet Page™ fails to achieve a minimum of five Page 1 rankings across major search engines per quarter, you will receive an additional three months of advertising FREE!
3. SCOPE OF LOOKLOCALLY.COM ANNUAL SERVICE:
Upon joining LookLocally.com, a unique Magnet Page™ will be created for each MEMBER location with content and media developed by LookLocally.com. Magnet Page ™ Campaigns are renewable annually at the current published rate.
Template Selection for your Magnet Page™ Campaign:
You may select any of the 3 templates available on the Prospect Digital Web site or you may contact LookLocally.com for information on our Custom Branded Template option.
Selecting custom branding option at a cost of $1800. Note: the price of $1800 includes one unique template design and is a one time charge. This design template may be applied to each Magnet Page ™ purchased in this agreement and to any pages purchased by the client at a future date unless the client specifies in writing otherwise. This template will then be applied to all MEMBER future renewal Magnet Page(s) with no additional increase to the standard renewal price. To see a sample of a Custom Branded page please click here.
Content for your Search Engine Magnet Page™campaign::
The content source can be provided to LookLocally.com in electronic format, via email, by fax or mail. If keyword phrases have not been previously determined, MEMBERS will provide a minimum of 6 keywords describing their business for keyword determination. LookLocally.com will optimize each MEMBER page by:
Creating a headline based on how people search for the MEMBER’S business
Fine tuning each Magnet Page™ to maximize effectiveness by:
Optimizing the content for higher search engine placement
Targeting the geographic areas chosen by the MEMBER
Based on historical data each Magnet Page™ client is allotted 1½ hours of creative time and 30 minutes of telephone support annually from a LookLocally.com team member. Any time beyond 1½ hours that is initiated or requested by the MEMBER will be billable at $125 per hour. Members may make any changes to their content by following the steps outlined in section 6 below.
LookLocally.com will select 3 images or the MEMBER can provide 3 images that best represent their business. Image specifications are horizontal 360 X 230 .jpeg or .gif files at 72 dpi. You may also choose from the approved stock image options available on the Prospect Digital Web site.
Note on Rankings:
Rankings are dependent upon 3rd party search engine algorithms which change often. Due to these fluctuations, once Members have approved the Magnet Page™ draft, LookLocally.com will not make any new changes to a Search Engine Magnet Page™ (SEMP) during the first 90 days of membership (outside of contact information corrections). This gives the SEMP Campaign an opportunity to be indexed across all Search Engines. Refreshes to the copy, keywords or geographies are implemented during the annual membership. Upon renewal a major refresh to the copy, images and optimization is included. Major changes are only recommended if there is a significant business reason (i.e. changes to your business direction, products, services or a significant decline in rankings). When changes in keywords, geographies or key text areas are made, allow up to 90 days for Search Engines to re-index your ad. All the terms, conditions and timelines outlined in this agreement apply to this change.
Please read the following Proof Process carefully:
Magnet Pages ™:
i. Client provides LookLocally.com with the content/copy sources.
ii. LookLocally.com drafts the copy. Upon completion, LookLocally.com will email the content draft to the client contact designated in point 4 of this agreement.
iii. LookLocally.com has included into the Magnet Page ™ bundle price one opportunity for the client to proof/edit the copy content.
iv. Within 5 business days of emailing the proof to the client should make edits or approve the draft. When the client has returned this proof version to LookLocally.com; it will be considered the final version of content to be incorporated into the Magnet Page ™. In the event the content is not approved by the 5th business day of providing it to the client, it will be published as written. Any additional changes by client will be billed at the current rate of $125 per hour.
Custom Branding Template:
i. Client provides LookLocally.com with the template source:
- Required: A Web site that the custom Magnet Page™ will replicate for Trade Dress (look and feel)
- Required: Digital Artwork that will assist in the creation of the template
Optional: Any additional specific instructions from client.
Required: Primary contact for custom branding template if different than contact in point 4
ii. LookLocally.com’s Web development team will create a proof draft of the template. LookLocally.com will email the proof draft upon completion to the appropriate party for review and edits. All design and layout edits to the template must take place at this point to avoid any additional fees. 2 hours of edit time has been included in this bundle.
iii. When the client has approved the custom template version; it will be considered the final version to be applied to the Magnet Page ™.
iv. LookLocally.com’s Web development team will begin the template coding process. The total hours scheduled for the production of this custom branded web page are 17 hours of development time. In the event the process exceeds that estimate due to multiple changes requested by Member, the billable rate per hour of $125 will apply. Members will be notified if, in the unlikely event, this occurs. Please allow 2 - 3 weeks for Custom Branding.
4. OVERVIEW OF MAGNET PAGE ™ PROCESS
The process for campaign creation is as follows:
1) Agreement and payment received from Member triggers work to begin.
2) Work order (W.O.) will be created by LookLocally.com account manager and submitted to LookLocally.com operations for tracking.
3) LookLocally.com Operations department creates initial Search Engine Magnet Page and contacts Member for proofing
4) One round of edits is included in annual price. Member either requests changes or approves the Magnet Page.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Proof process (e.g. proof for accuracy, design check or layout changes) is described in point 3. Final copy should be submitted to LookLocally.com attention: Don Williams, email: don@LookLocally.com (phone and fax at bottom of this page.)
FOR CUSTOM BRANDING CLIENTS ONLY: LookLocally.com developers will incorporate all content and images from existing Magnet Page(s)™ hosted on the www.looklocally.com site into the new custom page template. This custom branded template will be applied to any new Magnet Page(s)™ purchased by the client unless client notifies LookLocally.com otherwise in writing.
Upon final Member approval, the Magnet Pages™ will be hosted on the www.looklocally.com Web site.
5. MEMBER RESPONSIBILITY:
Provide LookLocally.com with a complete and accurate content source for the business description within 5 working days of the agreement.
* Content source must be a minimum of 3 paragraphs
Provide media (images and / or artwork) to LookLocally.com within 5 working days of the agreement.
Media should be either 360 X 230 .jpeg or .gif files at 72 dpi or you may choose from the stock images provided on the sign up form on the Prospect Digital Web site.
Notify LookLocally.com if contact name, phone number or email changes.
Participation in at least one campaign review meeting during the annual membership.
6. MEMBER ACCESS AND SECURITY:
Once MEMBERS join LookLocally.com, a Magnet Page™ campaign will be created based on the content source provided by the MEMBER. MEMBERS are responsible for providing LookLocally.com all necessary information for each Magnet Page™. The MEMBER will be assigned and notified of a username and password. MEMBERS are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their username and password.
Each MEMBER Magnet Page™ can be accessed on the Internet by MEMBERS at any time the Web site is accessible. With this ID and password the MEMBER is able to access their statistics and edit their business card information.
Content may be edited to incorporate changes by MEMBERS via submitting a Word Document with entire content including incorporate changes. These changes will be uploaded to the appropriate Magnet Pages and optimized if necessary. Any changes beyond the 90 minutes of edit time allowed will be billed at $125 per hour. Upon request, LookLocally.com will assist with changes or edits to MEMBER pages at an hourly rate of $125 per hour with a minimum of a one hour charge. MEMBERS are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under each MEMBER account.
7. SEARCH ENGINE MAGNET PAGE™ CAMPAIGN RENEWAL:
Magnet Pages™ are available via an annual subscription. Renewals of Magnet Pages™ entitle Members to:
- Complete refresh of content
- New images
- Re-optimization
- Campaign Performance Report
