LookLocally.com based in Grapevine, TX is looking for highly qualified and experienced ad sales professionals for outside Internet sales in Houston, Clear Lake and The Woodlands. Our highly competitive sales compensation plan is structured for an unlimited earnings potential for the right candidate. Candidates must have a proven sales success record, preferrably in media or internet sales. Qualified candidates from non-media / internet sales will be considered.
Candidates for our Internet sales jobs in Houston, Clear Lake and The Woodlands will be responsible for sales of LookLocally.com Search Engine Marketing (SEM) products and services. This position focuses on account recruitment and penetration activities, including prospecting, selling and closing. Compensation is based on 30% base / 70% commission split.
Other requirements for the Internet sales position with LookLocally.com include:
- Must meet or exceed Internet sales monthly / annuyal sales quota objectives in assigned territories in Houston, Clear Lake and The Woodlands.
- Aggressive prospecting for new pipeline opportunities is required. Ability to add a minimum of 20 new Internet sales prospects weekly from cold calling, lead follow up, networking, telemarketing, referrals and association participation such as Chamber of Commerce memberships and other lead groups in the Houston area, including Clear Lake and The Woodlands.
- Successful candidate must be proactive in managing sales pipeline through review of open leads and engage internal resources as necessary to close new Internet sales in Houston, The Woodlands and / or Clearlake territories.
- Individual must have the aptitude to handle complex Internet sales, negotiations and develop unique solutions to customer requirements.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years sales experience with revenue quota responsibility in Internet Advertising sales or related sales position.
- Individual must be highly motivated and results oriented with a proven track record preferably in an Internet sales or related sales position.
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to grow revenue in excess of 100% (M/M, Y/Y) for a period of no less than two years. History of successful development, implementation and execution of Sales Business Plan including new customer acquisition, account management and customer retention.
- Must have experience selling to Mid-Sized and Large Companies with emphasis on Media Marketing Firms. Experience with larger, multi-unit sales.
- Must provide no less than three executive level references from prior sales positions that can verify revenue results.
